Audio track not always playing

Hi - when I start playing back multiple tracks at any point other than the very BEGINNING, sometimes tracks don't play, I think it is exclusive to when it is a LONG recorded track. When I scroll the playhead back to the beginning and press play, all the tracks play. But if I scroll ahead, say, 30 seconds, some of the tracks are muted while others play.

Please help. This is really annoying for punch-ins.
